Senior Paralegal

Position Summary:
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Paralegal to join our client at their corporate headquarters in Arlington, Texas. In this role, you will be a key contributor, managing a variety of legal projects and providing crucial support to their leadership team. This is a great opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who excels at juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

 

 

  • Draft and manage legal documents: Independently prepare, review, and finalize a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, corporate agreements, and transactional documents.

  • Handle legal negotiations: Lead contract negotiations related to corporate operations, including non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), to secure the best outcomes for our business.

  • Manage intellectual property (IP): Take charge of our IP portfolio, including trademarks, copyrights, and domain names. This includes clearing, protecting, and enforcing our rights to ensure brand integrity and legal compliance. You will also manage IP disputes such as infringement claims, cease and desist actions, and takedowns.

  • Ensure legal compliance: Conduct risk mitigation and compliance reviews for high-risk issues, escalating complex matters to our legal staff or outside counsel as needed.

  • Provide legal support: Offer legal analysis and guidance to internal teams on a variety of matters, from employment law to general corporate operations.

  • Improve legal processes: Develop and update our contract templates to streamline negotiations and improve efficiency.

  • Communicate effectively: Use your exceptional communication skills to manage your workload and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

 


What We're Looking For:

 

  • Experience: At least 8 years of experience as a paralegal in a corporate setting.

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree with a Paralegal certificate or comparable legal education.

  • Skills: Strong analytical, research, negotiation, and writing skills. You should be able to translate complex legal information into clear, actionable advice.

  • Adaptability: The ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and tackle new issues as they arise with minimal supervision.

  • Knowledge: Broad knowledge of corporate law, with a solid understanding of issues related to IP, HR, finance, marketing, and e-commerce.
